Baroque Music CDs

The increasing popularity of baroque music in conjunction with the advent of the (mental) Aquarian Age is no coincidence.

Baroque music is light, tuneful, and emotionally satisfying. Yet with its inherent underlying pattern and order, it can appeal to both sides of the brain, the emotional, and the mental.

Baroque music had to be tuneful and enjoyable. It was written for entertainment at the Courts of Princes, and entertainment in the home too, for this was an Age when family music-making was an integral part of everyday life.

The pattern and order expressed throughout the repertoire of true baroque music arises from the place which baroque music holds in the overall development of music. Follow the development of music through this brief outline, from the earliest times to the present day, with baroque music in historical context.
